American Allied Health seeks to provide allied health professionals and testing partners with a national certification experience that is marked by excellence and professionalism. We continually strive to satisfy those who register for our national certification exams as well as those who are our current members and testing partners, while at all times maintaining and following sound practices regarding evaluating eligibility for testing and providing testing itself. AAH's staff is ready to answer any questions or concerns about our online exams, systems, and procedures.
By creating a user account, registering for an exam, or otherwise accessing our website, you are agreeing to all of the following terms and conditions:
You acknowledge and agree that your AAH national certification credentials will not be recognized or approved unless you first submit proof of eligibility to sit for the exam and AAH has reviewed and approved the submitted documentation (or unless an AAH-affiliated testing partner has confirmed my eligibility on my behalf). You understand and agree that hundreds if not thousands of third-party schools, hospitals, clinics, and even individuals provide eligibility training, not all of which have been pre-approved by AAH, and you may have to provide additional information and/or documentation from time to time. AAH has the sole right to determine whether the eligibility information you submit (or is submitted on your behalf) meets AAH’s criteria for approval, and to make the final decision about whether to approve or deny your eligibility request. Any approval by AAH of your eligibility, and any certification thereafter provided by AAH, shall be at all times subject to immediate revocation without prior notice if: (i) AAH has a good-faith basis to believe that all or any of the eligibility documentation or information submitted by you or on your behalf was fraudulent, incorrect, or otherwise inaccurate; (ii) you obtained any test questions in advance of taking the test (other than sample questions provided by AAH); (iii) you otherwise cheated on the test; (iv) you breached or otherwise did not strictly comply with any of these Terms and Conditions; or (v) AAH otherwise has a good faith basis to conclude that you did not take the test in good faith and/or fairly pass it.
You understand and agree that the content of AAH's practice tests, free study guides, paid study guides, certification examinations, and continuing education courses (hereafter referred to as "content") is copyrighted and the sole property of American Allied Health. You agree not to disclose, publish, copy, reproduce, transmit, store, or distribute this content, either in part or in whole, by any means or for any purpose, no matter whether you are compensated for it or not. You understand and agree that the unauthorized (by AAH) disclosure, publication, copying, reproduction, transmission, dissemination, or possession of AAH's content is a crime which may result in your civil liability and/or criminal prosecution and is a violation of these Terms and Conditions which can subject any certification AAH may have issued for you to be immediately revoked without notice.
You understand and agree AAH's exam results are automatically scored via a Computer Based Testing (CBT) system. You understand and agree that candidates who receive a non-passing score have the ability to appeal their test results up to 30 days after an examination attempt; and that appeals must include the candidate’s name, date of testing, and description of the reason for appeal. You understand and agree that it is your responsibility to send requests directly to appeals@americanalliedhealth.com and that the Appeals Review Committee will endeavor to respond within 15 days of submission.
You understand and agree that the purchase of any AAH paid study materials, certification renewal, online continuing education courses (CEs), and exam registration fees, is non-refundable and non-transferable once American Allied Health has processed your order. You agree not to dispute any charges by AAH on any credit card you provide from time to time merely because you did not pass any test.
You understand and agree that American Allied Health does not guarantee our members' employment or employability; it is your own responsibility to seek and procure employment and to determine your employer's, potential employer's, or state's requirements for employment prior to obtaining your credentials.
You agree to abide by American Allied Health's published Code of Ethics as they may exist from time to time. You understand and agree that ethical or professional violation of these standards may result in an internal review and adjudication process culminating in the revocation of your certification status.
Falsified, misleading, or otherwise incorrect information submitted to AAH at any time may result in the denial of your examination request and/or the revocation of your certification credentials or certificates of continuing education (CEs). You agree to cooperate with AAH’s efforts and promptly, accurately, and fully respond to all of AAH’s reasonable requests for information and documentation at all times, even after you have been certified. Failure to do so constitutes a violation of these Terms and Conditions and may result in the revocation of your certification status.
You agree that you will not hold American Allied Health, or any of its representatives, responsible for any action or negligence in providing any person or animal with any medical or non-medical services or attention.
You agree that you will not hold American Allied Health, or any of its representatives, liable for any injury or loss of life to any person or animal that may have resulted from your allied health practices pertaining or not pertaining, whether in whole or in part, to your AAH certification.
